Saturday night, Oct 10 · Monday morning, Oct 12 · Main Street, Marengo
Settlers' Days closes Main Street for Saturday night, and the road has to be open again by 11. That last hour is ours: meet at the beer tent at 10, grab gloves and a bag, and help sweep the street and the lot so the crew can reopen it on time. Then on Monday morning we come back in daylight and walk the parade route to pick up what the weekend left behind. Come to one or both.

Meet: Beer tent on Main Street, downtown Marengo.
About an hour. Main Street has to be clear so it can reopen at 11.
Trash goes: in the dumpster in the parking lot behind Marengo Tattoo.
Bring: closed-toe shoes, a flashlight or headlamp, and a layer. It is an October night.
Monday morning

Meet: Marengo Community Middle School, 816 E Grant Hwy (meet and park in the lot).
We walk the parade route along Main Street and pick up what the weekend left behind.
Bring: closed-toe shoes and a layer. Gloves, pickers, and bags are handed out in the lot.

Sign up, pick a long sleeve or a t-shirt in your size, and it is set aside for you and handed out when you check in. One shirt per signup: if someone in your group wants their own, have them sign up too.
